Blue World Marine Adventures introduces a brand new underwater viewing experience to Kingston, with a special tour to historic Garden Island, home to one of the most accessible historical ship graveyards in the Great lakes, with more than a dozen wooden sail and steamships, dating back to the early 1800’s.

We use clear hull kayaks that offer an unparalleled view of the ships in the clear shallow waters of Garden Island up close, and tell you the story of these vessels at the place they came to rest, by accident or design, and in doing so bring these ships, their people, and their history back to life.

Our tour starts with a boat ride from downtown Kingston out to the tour site. During the boat ride our tour staff will brief our guests on the history of the site and nearby Garden Island, and review the site conditions and our safety procedures.  All our tours are accompanied by qualified, personable tour guides with safety training, and Blue World provides everything you need, including personal flotation device, instruction on the safe handling of the kayak, a dry bag to carry your personal items, and bottled water.
